July 2025In the year of our 50th anniversary, we relocated within Salzburg-Liefering to new, modern office premises at Münchner Bundesstraße 1 and have since operated under the new name "Laabmayr ZT GmbH."

January 2022Christoph Niedermoser and Peter Steiner become shareholders in our company. Manfred Eder and Albert Helmberger continue as Managing Directors.

March 2019The engineering companies "IGT Geotechnik und Tunnelbau ZT GmbH" and "IL – Ingenieurbüro Laabmayr & Partner ZT GmbH" are strengthening their collaboration through the establishment of the Joint Venture "ATE – Austrian Tunnel Engineers." As ATE, international projects are successfully worked on together.

September 2014The company "LLP-Engineering GmbH," based in the city of Salzburg, is founded. The managing partners are Klaus Landschützer and Hannes Pfisterer. IL – Ingenieurbüro Laabmayr & Partner ZT GesmbH is a shareholder in "LLP-Engineering GmbH." With the authorization in electrical engineering, "LLP-Engineering GmbH" provides services in the fields of design and site supervision.

January 2013In order to cope with the steadily increasing work load and further secure the future of our growing company, our long-standing staff members Gerald Edlmair and Thomas Neumayr become shareholders in our company. Manfred Eder and Albert Helmberger continue as Managing Directors.

January 2005Roland Laabmayr joins us as a shareholder. Simultaneously, the company's founder, Franz Laabmayr, resigns as a shareholder. Our tunnel safety division enjoys strong expansion.

January 2004Albert Helmberger joins Laabmayr as a shareholder. Manfred Eder and Albert Helmberger serve as Managing Directors. The company's founder, Franz Laabmayr, steps down from the company management and continues to serve the company in an advisory capacity.

January 2002The general partnership is converted into IL – Ingenieurbüro Laabmayr & Partner ZT GesmbH. Franz Laabmayr and Manfred Eder are the owners and Managing Directors.

January 1994Manfred Eder becomes a partner in the engineering office. A general partnership is founded under the name IL – Ingenieurbüro Laabmayr & Partner – OEG. The Salzburg branch office becomes the company's headquarters and sole office. Franz Laabmayr and Manfred Eder are the owners and Managing Directors.

May 1977

May 1977Franz Laabmayr founds a branch office of Ingenieurbüro Laabmayr in Salzburg. Our tunnelling division proves to be prosperous. We quickly also demonstrate our expertise in rock and foundation engineering as well as structural engineering.

May 1975

May 1975Ingenieurbüro Laabmayr is founded in Munich, Germany, by Franz Laabmayr. Underground mass transit systems are being constructed throughout Germany, providing a natural opportunity to apply the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM) to urban settings.
